Red Hot! White Sox's Back Home

The White Sox host the Atlanta Braves in what should be a very exciting series. The Braves just took over the NL East by winning 5 games in a row and now own the best record in the National League. The White Sox won their 7th in a row with the win last night. The Braves pitcher, Tommy Hanson (7-4) 3.23 ERA, let up 9 Earned runs and 13 hits in 3.2 innings before being taken out. On the other hand, John Danks (7-5) 4.17 ERA only allowed three Earned Runs in seven innings pitched. The Braves made a run at the end of the game down 9-3 getting one run in the eighth inning off Tony Pena and two runs off of a struggling Bobby Jenks in the ninth inning. The fans started to get a little scared but Jenks was able to hold on to earn his 15th save of the year.
